SOM is being built around participation, contribution and connection — not simply around providing services.
Reuse • Repurpose • Provide
Useful extras can often be given another purpose. The SOM Community Supply Loop is being developed to redirect clean, safe and usable materials into future learning, creative and community activities.
Things like clean cardboard/egg cartons, unused cups/plates/bowls, stationery, craft supplies, storage tubs/trays and other useful activity materials.
Please contact us before contributing items so we can confirm what we can genuinely use and safely store.
Join programs, activities and community opportunities as they become available.
Support community initiatives through useful materials, skills, ideas or appropriate future volunteer opportunities.
Venues, businesses, organisations and community groups can connect with SOM about partnerships or shared opportunities.
Community Participation
Future SOM activities will create opportunities for people to participate, contribute skills, volunteer where appropriate and support community initiatives.
Community Impact Commitment
Once SOM-operated community markets commence, Switched-On Momentum intends to allocate 5% of the net profit generated by each SOM-operated market to eligible local community causes, fundraisers or community-development projects. This commitment will begin only once those markets are operating and generating net profit.
Partnerships & Local Collaboration
Switched-On Momentum welcomes appropriate conversations with local venues, community organisations, businesses, educators and other groups interested in practical community development, participation and positive opportunities.
Community is not separate from personal growth.
The environments we live in, the people around us, the opportunities we can access and the ways we contribute all influence what becomes possible.
SOM aims to strengthen both the individual and the environments around them — because stronger people can help shape stronger communities, and stronger communities can create better opportunities for people to grow.
As SOM programs and activities begin operating, approved feedback and reviews may be shared here with appropriate consent.
